Each fall Sweetwater celebrates our MAVUNO Festival of African American Art & Culture. 2021 will be our 25th anniversary of MAVUNO! The MAVUNO exhibition, First Fruit: Bring Me Your Best, is a curated collection of works by local artists Norman Brown, Elizabeth Asche Douglas, Dr. Amber Epps, Jayla Patton, Dominique Scaife, and Brett Wormsley. The exhibition features works that span a generation of creating, and highlight the artist’s individual experiences using various media.
