Executive Director Christine Brondyke brings us July’s installment of In the Water. On June 23rd, we welcomed over 100 supporters to our opening of the Waterworks exhibit. The exhibition is open till July 21st. In the kitchen, Chef Andrew Alvarez will be teaching Sushi & Kimbap and Cheese & Friends. We are hosting several camps towards the end of July for preteens and teens including Culinary Intensive Camp for Teenagers and Savy Sculptures for PreTeens. We are thrilled to bring back Max and Shane from Do What I Love for a free community workshop on August 2nd. This project is generously supported by The Heinz Endowments. In conjunction with the Mavuno Festival, we are hosting a solo exhibit with mixed media artist Deavron Dailey opening September 15th. New for 2023, the Mavuno Festival is partnering with local breweries and cider house, altered genius, Fermata, Monaca Brewing Company, and Dope Cider House & Winery.
