Summer Camp Assistant

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic high school and college students to join our team as Summer Camp Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our art summer camps. This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the arts, art education, or early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the check-in and check-out process for campers.
• Support instructors in classroom setup, organization, and cleanup.
• Engage with campers to provide assistance and guidance with their art projects.
• Supervise campers during breaks and transition periods.
• Assist with administrative tasks and communication with parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with the camp team to ensure a safe, positive, and enriching experience for all campers.

Qualifications:

• Passion for the arts and working with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with campers, parents/guardians, and fellow staff members.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
• Prior experience working with children or in a camp setting is preferred but not required.

Schedule:

This is a seasonal, part-time position for the duration of our summer camp season. Camps run from June 3rd to August 16th, from 8:30AM-4:30PM. Summer Camp Assistants will be scheduled anywhere between 5-25 hours per week.

Pay: $10/hour
