Job Description
·  Full-time, exempt
·  Salary: $40,000
·  Hours: Typically 9-5pm; will work some nights and weekends
·  Benefits: Medical and vision; paid vacation and holidays; access to classes and equipment, ability to teach classes, 4013(b) plan with a 3% company match
·  Reports to the Director of Community Engagement and Education

The Programs Manager primarily manages all educational programming for the Center. Duties and responsibilities include maintaining our education database, procuring educational equipment, interviewing teaching artists, and supporting the Director of Community Engagement and Education. This position requires flexible responsibilities and a willingness to assist the team where needed. It serves as the center’s community face.

Additionally, all positions ensure that the experience of every donor, guest, and patron of Sweetwater is consistently and intentionally positive and memorable.

Key Responsibilities:
-Maintains the class registration system (Sawyer)
-Maintains all teaching artist contracts and other education-related administration, as well as interviewing and scheduling teaching artists.
-Assists at festivals and community engagement events.
-Manages summer camps.
-Acts as one of the Center’s main customer service representatives, answering customer questions and assisting with class registrations and facility inquiries.
-Maintains all classroom and party supplies.
-Assists with classroom setup as needed.
-Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and training required; experience in non-profit arts education, arts management, or art-related degree is preferred.
-Detail-oriented, organized, and possesses customer service skills.
-Ability to multi-task and has basic computer knowledge. (MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
