Art, Power & Self: How I Can Change the World
The Tess Senay Raynovich Art and Earth Eco Art Series
Join Sweetwater Center for the Arts and the Irma Freeman Center for Imagination as we explore the vast world of Eco Art.
Today’s youth understand that they are the future and they can change the world. Children need to take charge as caretakers and advocates for the environment. By making new habits to buy less and reuse more, kids can be empowered. Moreover, activism over apathy commands a positive self-image which instills confidence. Kids can learn to take a stand and find everyday inspirational ways as global citizens and artists to change the world into a better place.
This is a hands on 6-month, once a month program geared towards children in middle school and high school. Take all 6 classes or just drop in for one!
