The Singer Family Creative Fund, established by Anna Singer—renowned opera singer, painter, and WQED-FM announcer—honors her parents, Harton (“Red”) and Patty Singer, founding members of Sweetwater Center for the Arts. Each year, the fund awards a $2,500 grant to a dedicated member of Sweetwater’s Artist Member Initiative (SAMI), supporting artistic projects, professional development, and opportunities that advance creative growth.
