Faux Paws

Thursday, February 26, 2026

From raging fiddle tunes to saxophone solos and unrequited love songs, the music of The Faux Paws is hard to pin down with standard genre descriptions. The bi coastal trio brings together a contagious groove and feel good melting pot folk sound honed over more than ten years of playing together. Made up of brothers Andrew and Noah VanNorstrand and longtime collaborator Chris Miller, the band’s music reflects a deep musical kinship rooted in folk dance traditions, bluegrass, jazz, and experimentation. After years of touring across North America and learning from one another through various projects, The Faux Paws now release their self titled debut album, a joyful and distinctive collection that unites diverse influences into a cohesive and compelling sound.
