Sweetwater offers numerous classes in the visual, performing, literary, and culinary arts to both adults and children beginning at age three. Need-based scholarships are available.
If you’ve never seen a giant sea creature devour a building, you’ll have the chance beginning on April 4, 2014 when Sweetwater launches Wild Things—a public art installation featuring 30-foot inflatable tentacles, created by British street artist Filthy Luker.
Wild Things is a summer-long campaign to increase awareness of the many offerings available at Sweetwater—from art classes and exhibitions to outreach programs and community events. The reception, exhibition and events are free and open to the public.
