October Artist Guild Meeting with Mural Artist, Gregg Valley

Join us for our monthly Artist Guild meeting with Gregg Valley.

Illustrator, painter, sculptor, muralist, designer, photographer, avid kayaker, and experienced chicken farmer, Gregg Valley is a diversely talented artist.

As Gregg developed his style, he realized that it was very adaptable to paint on both a large and small scale. He has created works on buildings up to 60 feet high and 75 feet long.

Over the past several years Gregg has accepted a number of large scale public art commissions—converting his unique “faceted” illustration style to a monumental scale. The style is a perfect fit for these enormous works. Detailed planning and preparation and weeks of balancing on scaffolding is now second-nature to him. Murals can be found around Western Pennsylvania, and in Northern California.

As always, Guild meetings are free and open to the public. Guild meetings are held at Sweetwater’s building located at 200 Broad Street in Sewickley, PA.
