The Artist Guild: May Meeting with Guest Speaker Linda Barnicott – Soft Pastel Artist

Join us for The Artist Guild’s monthly meeting with pastel artist, Linda Barnicott as guest speaker!

Creating portraits since childhood, Linda is now known for her enchanting portraits of Pittsburgh. Using rich, soft pastels, she captures the unique beauty of famous Pittsburgh landmarks. A few awards Linda was honored to receive was a special Proclamation from the City of Pittsburgh celebrating her iconic paintings and was chosen as the official artist of the Three Rivers Regatta, the 50th Anniversary of Light-up Night, and Macy’s 100th Anniversary of Kaufmann’s Clock. But what she cherishes most is the 17 years she created the Holiday Cards for the American Cancer Society and raising 750,000 for Cancer research and prevention. For Linda, art has always been about giving joy.
