Art Education Internship


Summer 2019 EDUCATION & OUTREACH INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Position: Education & Outreach Intern

Reports to: Manager of Education Programs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning and management of programs
  • Assist with development of course catalog
  • Compile data from program evaluations and enrollment surveys
  • Assist as a classroom aide in art camps
  • Monitor children during pre-care, lunch, and after-care as needed
  • Assist in the camp registration process
  • Assist in creating fun festival activities for kids; lead craft station
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate or undergraduate college/university student
  • Excellent oral, written, and organization skills
  • Ability to work individually and in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Arts Education a plus
  • Clearances: Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114

Schedule:

Days and hours are negotiable, with ability to work on and off site.

Compensation:

This is a non-paid position. Candidates may receive college credit for this internship. If you are interested in this position but cannot receive college credit we encourage you to apply, as we have many volunteer opportunities available.
