We are excited to offer our annual Holiday Mart in-person again this December! But are also excited about our new online audience and sales! So in 2021, we will be offering both!!
Sweetwater's annual sale of artist made gifts will offer sales online AND in-person at our beautiful pop-up boutique! All artists accepted will sell in our in-person shop. Artist inclusion in the simultaneous Holiday Mart online store will be determined by image quality, item category, and item size.
We are currently looking for artists who make gifts of ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, wood, metal, paper, glass, and fine art, as well as gifts for the home, gifts for children, and edibles.
Holiday Mart is organized and run by staff and our wonderful volunteers, creating a large holiday pop-up boutique style shopping experience. Artists inventory and drop off their items, and we take it from there. We display and sell the items, organize corresponding events, and handle taxes. Artist do not have to attend the sale. For our online store artists supply images and we handle the rest, including web design, postings, updates, and shipping. At the close of Holiday Mart, artists return to pick up any remaining items. Shipping is also available.
This sale model offers artists the opportunity to participate in other sales during this busy buying season! As well as offer artists the ability to sell work in a seasonal sale without large inventory.
