Summer Sweet Jazz Series – Tania & Jeff Grubbs Quartet

Due to inclement weather predicted for this evening (7/23), we believe it is in everyone’s best interest that we postpone this evening’s Summer Sweet Jazz concert with Tania & Jeff Grubbs Quartet.

This concert has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 13th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Tickets for tonight’s performance will be honored for the rescheduled performance.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 412-741-4405 or email us at info@sweetwaterartcenter.org

Considering the safety of our guests and artists, we have moved the location of the Tania & Jeff Grubbs Quartet concert OUTSIDE.

Join us this Thursday night for live jazz (7:00 to 9:00PM) at Club Thaw in Bell Acres. (Address will be provided the day before the performance).

With the change of venue, we are able to expand our attendance for these concerts. We ask for a $25 donation per person / children 12 and under are free. The concert will take place rain or shine.

Masks are required upon check-in, when using the restroom and any time 6′ or greater social distancing is not possible. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and personal beverages. Water and light snacks will be provided. Social distancing will be required and monitored by Sweetwater staff and volunteers. There is plenty of space to adhere to the desired 6 feet from your nearest neighbor.

Parking is free and on site; please follow the directions of the SCA staff. We are asking attendees to please be respectful and mindful to follow guidelines to ensure safety for all.

Tania Grubbs has been singing as long as she can remember, in many different venues and genres. She is a graduate of Youngstown State University. While a student there, she gravitated toward singing and learning about jazz starting with the classic American Songbook. Whenever possible, she would sing at jazz sessions and it was a little over 20 years ago at one of those jazz sessions, that she met her husband—bassist, Jeff Grubbs. These days you will most likely hear them together performing as the Tania & Jeff Grubbs Quartet.

Join us for a night of great music, we’ve missed you!
