Depicted in the Mud will showcase ceramic artists who share messages and storytelling through surface on vessels or pottery. For centuries, civilizations have been documenting their experiences in clay, telling stories, and recording history through drawings, symbols, and words. Today is no different, and this medium still serves as a way for us to communicate. When the message is depicted on a functional ware or vessel, one we can hold up close and personal, and interact with, the message becomes more intimate, repetitious, and comfortable.

This exhibition will be a combination of invited and juried artists.

This event is free and open to the public. Light food and refreshments will be provided.
