Take a deep breath and embark on a journey into the sometimes whimsical, sometimes brooding, always satisfying land of storytelling. Both beginners and experienced writers will find guidance as they collect their thoughts and construct their own short stories and essays. Students will learn editing techniques, character development, setting, plot, narrative voice, and exposition, while participating in regular, and supportive critiques. Leave preconceptions behind, but feel free to bring paper, pens, laptop, tablet, and a kind regard for fellow writers. Remember Einstein’s belief that, “Imagination is more important than knowledge!” Returning students are encouraged to attend to further develop their creative writing skills.

*We continue to monitor the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC and PA Dept. of Health related to Covid-19; if we must cancel/reschedule a camp/class due the impact of the pandemic you will be notified as soon as possible but no later than two days prior to the start date of camp when possible.
