Artist Talk with Brian Druckenmiller

Join us to visit with Brian Druckenmiller and hear first hand about the making of this diverse collection of works shown in the exhibition Once Was and May Be in Sweetwater’s Gallery.

His paintings and drawings indulge in imagination, experimentation, and expression. Through his whimsical style, the works are mood saturated and present strong use of gesture and shape. Intertwining simplicity and complexity, Brian’s imagery captivates the eye while arousing the mind. Once Was and May Be showcases a progressive narrative of playfully bold influences, experiences and thought.

Brian Druckenmiller studied advertising arts at Pennsylvania College of Technology, with minimal formal training in the fine arts. Most of what he learned was by his own hand. He spent many years traveling and after many relocations, Brian has found himself living in the heart of Pittsburgh, surrounded by inspirational people and community.
