Art as Therapy Workshop for Caregivers – Focus on Gun Violence

As the fears surrounding school safety and mass violence heightens, we are faced with the reality of active shooter drills and hard conversations. As caregivers in this current climate, we often feel we are in uncharted territory and are unsure what practices are best for children. With this in mind, licensed Art Therapist Dani Moss will lead this workshop designed to help caregivers offer support and guidance, through art activities, to children who might be struggling with the consequences of gun violence and the fear surrounding active shooter drills.
