Ceramic Hand-building CS02

Ceramic Hand-building CS02

Come create table ARTware, handbuilt for life. In this course, students will explore making versatile and functional vessels that are food, dishwasher and microwave safe. We will take an in-depth look at the endless ways textured surfaces can be rolled onto stoneware slabs, and then complemented with ornate glaze applications and methods. Use minimalist, geometric impressions, stamps, stencils or incorporate elements from nature and press plant life. This class promotes individual discovery, growth and development of fresh ideas. Make, Use, Love!

Safety measures for Covid-19 include the following:
Small class sizes, temperature reading and review of health systems prior to each class, appropriate social distancing and hourly disinfection of high-touch points. Materials are supplied, but students are encouraged to bring supplies if owned. Sharing will be limited where possible - supplies will be sanitized between use.
