No Show Art Show Benefiting the Community Arts Education Fund

Sweetwater Center for the Arts cordially invites you to partake in the inaugural Spring “No-Show Art Show”

We were planning to invite to you to the most extravagant exhibition opening of the season. We had intended to curate artists from all over the world to showcase never before seen works of fine art. We were going to serve you an exquisite assortment of hors d’oeuvres and wine. In addition, we were going to hire the best dance band in Pittsburgh just for this event.

Then we thought, instead, we’d invite you to send just a portion of the hundreds, maybe even thousands, of dollars you would have spent going to a fancy event to support our Community Arts Education Fund.

This Spring, in lieu of sending our usual Spring appeal letter, we invite you to purchase a “ticket” to the No-Show Art Show, which will support hundreds of community members to learn, create, grow, and experience art and culture first hand at your local community art education center.

Our goal for the No-Show Art Show is to raise $25,000 so students of all ages can receive the best educational programming possible. It’s a win-win arrangement: our community members and students win with the funds raised from the No-Show Art Show, and you win by saving both time and money by not having to show up at the event.

Please help us spread the word of the No-Show Art Show with your friends and family!
