Dakota R. Garilli

Dakota R. Garilli is a poet and educator who has taught creative writing at the Environmental Charter School, the Allegheny County Jail, Chatham University, and elsewhere. They have served as a mentor and guest educator at a variety of Pittsburgh Public Schools and train adults who work with youth in relationship building and youth leadership development. Dakota's chapbook, Call it Something Different was a finalist for the Robin Becker Prize and published by Seven Kitchens Press in 2016.
