Student Art Exhibition at Studio419 Submission

Sweetwater Center for the Arts is excited to announce our new Studio419 maker space on Beaver Street in Sewickley. Studio 419’s grand opening is on Thursday, April 4th. We are seeking regional middle school and high school students to display their art work in conjunction with the opening event.

Exhibition dates: April 4 – April 18, 2019
Drop off date: April 1
Pick up date: April 23
FREE to participate
2D and 3D art work accepted
No video or new media accepted
Up to 3 works from each artist accepted


To participate please fill out the form below, then hand deliver the work to 419 Beaver Street in Sewickley on Monday, April 1st between 10:00am and 1:00pm. (or to Sweetwater on Saturday, March 30 between 12:30-2:30pm) Please attach a paper to the back of the piece that lists the following:

1. Artist Name
2. Grade and School
3. Title of Art Work
4. Media

When you or a family member is looking to take an art class, view an exhibition, or attend a cultural event, where do you turn? If you're like most in our community, you go to Sweetwater Center for the Arts.

$1,000 provides enough materials to fund a semester-long community outreach program.
$500 allows two senior citizens to take an oil painting class.
$250 provides enough clay for every student in an 8-week ceramics class.
$200 will send a child to summer camp for a week.
$100 provides the food for a culinary workshop.
$50 provides materials for two weeks of painting camps.
