Classical Realism in Oils and Pastels PA05

Through demonstration and individual instruction, nationally renowned painter James Sulkowski will teach you the concepts and techniques that make a painting a timeless treasure. This course will cover Classical principles of drawing, form, composition, texture and color as well as how to create depth, light, and atmosphere in a painting. Subject matter will include still life, floral, and also the portrait.

A can or jar containing mineral spirits also known as paint thinner.
The best palette is one that is toned a medium gray. Avoid using a white palette.

$500 allows two senior citizens to take an oil painting class.
$250 provides enough clay for every student in an 8-week ceramics class.
