Sweetwater Center for the Arts

Sweetwater Center for the Arts was established in 1975 as a nonprofit organization that sought to enrich its community by providing consistent and high-quality arts education for all ages. Almost 50 years later, Sweetwater offers nearly 400 classes, workshops, and lectures annually. We welcome all levels and all ages, focusing on visual, literary, music, and culinary arts.

We are also proud to host annual cultural events such as the Mavuno Festival, celebrating black art and artists in our community; Sweet Jazz, an outdoor summer concert series boosting the sounds of local Jazz musicians; and Holiday mART, a holiday market celebrating local artistry.

The future of Sweetwater is BRIGHT!
